Account Manager

Is responsible for managing sales and marketing efforts towards customer in Saudi Arabia, with main focus on Saudi ARAMCO for Systems solutions. As team leader/Account Manager he shall take responsibility to achieve the assigned order intake quota for the account and the product. Help maintaining good relations with customers. Provide information and insight to the higher management for the customer business direction and help plan company business accordingly. Shall support the dept. manager for to achieve the goals set for the dept. and guide his staff in the team. To work closely with the other cross sectional departments like, Engineering, Service, Process Solutions, Quality, Legal etc.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Works diligently to achieve the Sales & Marketing objectives and targets (order intake and profit) for the sales dept.
  • Prepare business plan, both fiscal (quantitative) and qualitative for the assigned accounts and Products .
  • To work as a motivated TEAM member with only positive attitude and specific focus on Sales, have open communication among the Sales team to achieve the Sales objectives.
  • Take care of installed based and cultivate new business and capture new customers.
  • Customer relations management, and be focal point of coordinating all customer cases within company.
  • Learn company system products and solutions and become sales champion for these and support others for sales of these products, and learn and master ARAMCO standards for these products.
  • Build relations with customer both B2B & P2P.
  • Supervise and Support the Sales TEAM in preparation of the correct techno commercial proposals within stipulated time as requested by customer in coordination with other cross sectional departments of Systems/Products/PSC in Bahrain for the final integrated proposal to customer. Help improve company offers to customer.
  • Makes proposal decisions in consultation with Dept. Manager on the day-to-day running of the System/SCADA/RTU business in KSA.
  • Take lead and responsibility in planning the strategy and negotiating technical and commercial proposals with customers to achieve success. Help organize and lead sales meetings and presentation with customers.
  • To support for site survey for the replacement projects within KSA.
  • Regularly and timely business reports to the higher level.
  • Be voice of customer inside the company organization and take responsibility to deliver value to customer.
Qualification and Experience
  • BS.C in engineering or Business management with System sales (SCADA/RTU) experience
  • 10 years+ practical experience in the automation industry of Control systems, SCADA and RTU
  • Working experience and knowledge of ARAMCO Account, in previous job, preferable have worked with at least one major competitor (Honeywell, Emerson or Schneider) in recent past.
  • Ability to understand the market requirements, business development approach and customer needs.
  • Work experience in Oil and Gas industry (upstream) and specifically in Saudi will be additional advantage.
  • Knowledge of Saudi ARAMCO technical standards will be additional advantage.
  • Have proven track record of handling Large Accounts.
